The Redeem Code feature in Hana Wallet allows you to claim promotional token rewards. Using an 8-character code or a QR code, you can quickly redeem your rewards directly within the wallet. This guide walks you through the step-by-step process for redeeming codes on your mobile device.

Step-by-Step Guide to Redeem Codes
Open the Manage Tab
Launch the Hana Wallet app on your mobile device.
Navigate to the Manage tab in the bottom menu.
Tap the Redeem Code Button
In the Manage section, look for the Redeem Code button and tap it to open the Redeem Code page.
Enter Your Redeem Code
Type your 8-character redeem code into the input field.
As you type, any letters in the code will automatically be converted to uppercase.
Tip: Double-check your code for accuracy before proceeding.
(Optional) Use the QR Code Scanner
Instead of manually entering the code, you can scan a QR code to fill in the input field automatically.
Tap the QR code icon on the Redeem Code page to access your phone’s camera.
Align the QR code within the camera frame to scan it.
Note: The app may prompt you to grant camera access if this is your first time using the QR scanner. Be sure to allow access to proceed.
Tap the Redeem Your Code Button
Once your code is entered (either manually or via QR code), tap the Redeem Your Code button.
View the Results
After submitting the code, you’ll be presented with one of the following outcomes:
Tokens Available for Claim: If the code is valid and unused, you’ll see the tokens you can claim.
Invalid Code: If the code is incorrect, a message will inform you that the code is invalid.
Already Claimed: If the code has already been redeemed, you’ll be notified accordingly.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Code Not Working: Double-check for typos or ensure you’ve entered all 8 characters.
QR Code Not Scanning: Make sure your camera is functioning properly and has been granted access. Clean your camera lens or improve lighting if the scan doesn’t work.
Already Claimed Error: If you see this message, it means the code has already been redeemed, either by you or another user.
Pro Tips
Check Your Tokens: After redeeming, navigate to the token list in Hana Wallet to verify that the claimed tokens have been added.
Keep Codes Private: Avoid sharing your redeem codes with others to prevent unauthorized use.
