π¦ Are you ready to unlock the value of your SUI? Collateral is the first step.
Step-by-step instructions to deposit SUI as collateral on the Sui network
1. Find the relevant task
Navigate to the season/task that is asking you to Deposit SUI collateral on Sui.
2. Check wallet connection
Check that Hana wallet is logged in and open on the wallet you have connected to Hana rewards and wish to use for this task.
3. Head to Balanced
Under the title of the task, click Go to Balanced.
This will take you to the Balanced homepage.
4. Connect to Balanced
In the top-right corner, click Sign in.
Click Connect wallet next to ICON.
This will connect Hana wallet to Balanced for ICON.
Then scroll down and click Connect wallet next to Sui.
Select Hana on the following screen.
This will connect Hana wallet to Balanced for Sui.
5. Select your collateral type
The top left modal of the Balanced homepage, entitled Collateral, has a drop-down menu to select your collateral type and source blockchain.
Select SUI as the asset type
Select Sui as the source blockchain.
6. Select collateral amount
In the collateral modal, click Deposit.
Use the slider or manually enter the amount of the selected asset you wish to provide as collateral.
Click Confirm.
π‘ There is a minimum loan amount of $10 in effect, so your collateral should exceed $15 in value as an absolute minimum if you wish to take a loan.
7. Confirm collateral deposit
In the following screen, confirm your selection and click Deposit.
8. Sign the transaction
In the Hana wallet window that appears, click Authorize to confirm the transaction.
You have successfully deposited collateral on Sui.
π You will earn 0.5 XP per day for every 1 USD of collateral.
