What to do if you receive an authorization code but did not initiate a transaction

When making online purchases, you may be required to authenticate your payment by entering a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number. If you did not initiate the transaction, follow these steps:

  1. Immediately cancel your card:

    To prevent further unauthorized transaction attempts, cancel your card:

    1. Log in to your mobile app.

    2. Navigate to the Hana Card section.

    3. Select the settings menu

    4. Select the option to Cancel card.

  2. Verify with family or other authorized users:

    Check whether someone else with access to your card details may have mistakenly used your card.

  3. Check your transaction history:
